If you are around on June 14th in the evening then why don’t you come along to the District Office (Bishop’s Wood, Nantwich, CW5 7QD) and join us as we explore the concept of church planting.
The Chester and Stoke-on-Trent District really feels that it is at a turning point in its mission and that we need to begin to think what happens when most of the structural changes have finished through the process mapping the way forward which has dominated much of British Methodism in the last 5 years.
EXPO Church: Exponential growth of The Church wants to explore what church planting might look like in The Chester and Stoke District as we begin to journey with it. Ron Willoughby, a church planter from America and now mission strategist at Swanbank, Burslem, will be joining us to offer his experience and knowledge as well as, hopefully, other practitioners.
So who should come? Anybody and everybody! If you are passionate about church planting but have no idea where to begin – come and join us! If you need a little convincing of church planting and how it might work in The Chester and Stoke District – come and join us! If you think you might have an ideal location near where you live, work or worship for a church plant – then come and join us! If you are fed up of being in hope-less conversations in the church – then come and join us! If you know nothing about church planting and want to know more – then come and join us! If you live outside the District but think that this might be helpful in your own area – then come and join us! Email me at info@vfxhanley if you want more information.
